REGISTER OF MARKS.
1. The Assay Office maintains a ''Manufacturer's Register'' and a ''Jeweler's Register'' and is every manufacturer's concern to supply the Assay Office all the necessary particulars for the issue of a certificate of Registration. The certificate of Registration must be placed in the premises of the Manufacturer or Jewelers where he usually performs his work.
2. The Assay Office maintains ''a register of manufacturer's marks'' where every approved mark is registered in accordance with the relevant Section of the Law.
Any manufacturer shall keep exhibited at all times, in a conspicuous position in a part of his premises to which those with whom he deals are commonly admitted, a notice in terms approved and in a form supplied by the Organization describing such approved hallmarks and including such explanatory matter as the Organization think fit,
It shall be an offence for any manufacturer to fail to exhibit or keep exhibited a notice required to be exhibited.
3. The Organization may register its own manufacturer's mark, called ''Assay Office Mark'' The ''Assay Office Mark'' may be struck on an article in the case where a person submits an article to the Assay Office for striking with the approved hallmark and the Assay Office are of opinion that they would not be justified in requiring that person to register and strike a manufacturer's mark in accordance with the foregoing provisions of this section,
